SpoooOOOOooky

We love an excuse to decorate the home, even if it’s just for a day.
Autumn (or ‘Fall’) is widely celebrated in the US and we’ve certainly adopted the Trick or Treat Halloween tradition here in the UK.

We’ve noticed lots of door wreaths appearing all over the place, made with rich russets and orange hues. You can easily make your own or just get the local florist to create you a spooktacular display and impress the neighbours. A beautiful door decoration looks so welcoming, even if you’re not into the whole halloween thing.

Although it’s hard to avoid. The supermarkets are full of pumpkins and spooky accessories, ready for the 31st of October. It’s easy to get creative with seasonal food too, from squash soup to meringue ‘ghosts’ – we might opt for a healthier option at Bridge Homes and try these tangerine pumpkins.

However you choose to celebrate Autumn, enjoy the colours and cosy evenings and don’t forget to look under the bed!
